Shooting my surroundings is fairly new to me as I spent the majority of my photography life obsessed with people. I believed that I could only make interesting images if I had the expressions of the faces to tell the story. That has changed for me as I have explored the countryside around my house, other regions of France and now the US landscape as a visitor. It’s more difficult to capture what I feel in relation to the scene using natures expression, but I have started to try and so the journey begins.
